Olga brings up two children from different marriages, cares about her alcoholic father and tries to adjust her personal life. The eldest daughter Anya is studying in a vocational school, she thinks that she is the only adequate member of the family, and in her life everything will be different. The younger son Timofey, whose father returned to the first family in Azerbaijan, believes that he is already a man, although he is only 11 years old. Olga's father, Yuri Gennadievich, a former football player, drinks hard and constantly lies, which often leads to scrape. And sister Lena is trying to live at the expense of men - mostly married.Eternally saving relatives from troubles, Olga lives a strange life and rarely thinks of herself until Grisha, a young and positive driver of the “Sable” hearse, falls in love with her.

Olga, a lonely parking lot guard, sweeps up the snow, that won't cease falling, and waits for her daughter, who keeps her car there. Little by little, the snowdrifts grow above Olga's head. When a twist of fate stops her from meeting her daughter again, all she can do is to see hope where it almost never was before.

Olga Havlová was the closest and most trustworthy companion of Václav Havel. A friend who was always generous with her time. She was an entertaining host, passionate games-player, mushroom-gatherer, nature-lover, sharp commentator, and courageous and diligent dissident. In 1990 she founded Výbor dobré vûle (Committee of Good Will), which is still doing vital work today.

Olga, exhausted, abused by her boyfriend, comes to take refuges in her son's apartment. Her son is involved in a passionate relationship with his girlfriend in a burning hot city. Olga finds herself a prisoner of her desire, inflamed by the young couple's intimacy.

Norma works at an advertising agency where she must produce everything she despises. Her job represents everything she's always hated, but the fear of change is stronger. Her friends live in an eternal present where nothing is stable and everything is for now, and although she envies her friends' freedom, she doesn't dare imitate them.
